Medmont Studio 5
The next generation of Medmont Studio has just been released with a host of new features to get more out of your Medmont devices.
When you launch Medmont Studio 5 for the first time you will immediately notice the updated user interface. This fresh, clean approach will help navigate around Medmont Studio with greater ease and flexibility. The new Home tab has all the common functions you use everyday in one convienient location. The new icon based navigation means less time training your staff as functions are more self-discoverable.
As well as the new interface improvements, we have also added support for Microsoft SQL Server. This means larger practices with multiple sites have greater storage capacity and security for patient data then ever before. Microsoft SQL Server also comes with advanced tools for managing your database.
Automated Perimetry (M700 Series)
With the release of Medmont Studio 5 we have included a range of enhancements for your M700 and M730 visual field screeners. Automatic video fixation tracking reduces test times for your patients by removing the need for Heijl-Krakau blind spot checks evey ten or so exposures. Our new retinal overlay function is an outstanding patient education tool and assists you in locating and identifying retinal anomalies by using your field test results as a guide (DV2000 required). Also available in this ground breaking new release is our new pointwise progression analysis. Improving on the exisiting difference view, this analysis shows at-a-glance points which are consistently deteriorating over time.
Diagnostic Video Imaging (DV2000)
Our industry leading digital video software module DV2000 has also been enhanced to include the ability to view images in 3 dimensions. This stereo viewing function makes the most of advances in 3D technology giving new clarity to retinal disk and cup topology. Also included is a new Mosaic capture facility for retinal photography. Able to connect to a variety of different retinal cameras, this function allows you to capture and register (stitch) multiple retinal photographs into a single composite image, giving greater coverage of the retina than ever before. This, in combination with the addition of our new difference viewing function, means that changes to the retina can be identified with greater ease.
Corneal Topography (E300)
Included with Medmont Studio 5 is the addition of zoned keratometrics. This function allows you to view seperate steep and flat meridans for 3mm, 5mm and 7mm zones. Also included in this release are other minor updates and enhancements.
