Important information for Medmont Studio 5 users!

A brief statement regarding the maintenance warning message being received by some users on Medmont Studio 5.

Some of you may have seen a message appear when starting Medmont Studio which warns of the pending expiration of your maintenance contract. Your original instrument purchase or software upgrade automatically entitles you to 12 months of software maintenance. A maintenance contract allows you to download software updates which include software improvements and new features. Please be aware that your software will continue to operate in its current state even after the maintenance period expires.

Medmont will be discontinuing the maintenance contract feature from the next scheduled Studio 5 release. This will allow all current licensed Studio 5 users to continue to download all future updates free of charge. This policy does not apply to older version users of Medmont Studio, V1,V2,V3 and V4 will all require an upgrade fee to move to the current version of software, Medmont Studio 5. There will still be a future cost involved to upgrade to the next major version, for instance Version 6.
