Contact lens Options (Case Studies)

Each case will be diagnosed topographically, then contact lens options will be explored by means of the computer generated tear layer (NaFl pattern) and bearing profile. Included in many of the cases will be slit lamp video and/or still photography of the on eye outcomes with various lens designs.

The cases will include the following principles to fit: spherical GP, soft and GP torics, corneal, intra-limbal and scleral GPÔÇÖs as well as aspherics, and reverse geometry lenses

Cases:

  • Moderate - with the rule astigmatism (to understand ideal c/l relationships)
  • High Astigmatism (to understand highly toric but symmetrical shapes)
  • Form Fruste
  • Central (Nipple) Keratoconus
  • Oval Keratoconus
  • Globic Keratoconus
  • Pellucid Marginal Degeneration
  • Penetrating Keratoplasty
  • Radial Keratotomy
  • Post LASIK/PRK
